ക്വിസ്പ്രസ് ടീമുകളെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്നതിനുളള മാനദണ്ഡങ്ങള്‍
- എഴുത്തുപരീക്ഷയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തില്‍ ദക്ഷിണ, മധ്യ, ഉത്തര സോണുകള്‍ക്ക് പ്രാതിനിധ്യം നല്‍കി നിശ്ചിത എണ്ണം ടീമുകളെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കും.
- ദക്ഷിണ സോണില്‍ തിരുവനന്തപുരം, കൊല്ലം, പത്തനംതിട്ട, ആലപ്പുഴ, കോട്ടയം ജില്ലകളും മധ്യ സോണില്‍ ഇടുക്കി, എറണാകുളം, തൃശ്ശൂര്‍, പാലക്കാട് ജില്ലകളും ഉത്തരസോണില്‍ കോഴിക്കോട്, മലപ്പുറം, വയനാട്, കണ്ണൂര്‍, കാസര്‍ഗോഡ് ജില്ലകളും ഉള്‍പ്പെടുന്നു.
- ഫെബ്രുവരി 19ന് ഓണ്‍ലൈനില്‍ നടക്കുന്ന യോഗ്യതാപരീക്ഷ 30 മാര്‍ക്കിന് (30 ചോദ്യങ്ങള്‍ , ഒരു ചോദ്യത്തിന് ഒരു മാര്‍ക്ക്) ആയിരിക്കും.
- ഫെബ്രുവരി 20ന് രാവിലെ 11 മുതല്‍ 1 മണിവരെയും ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം 2 മണി മുതല്‍ 4 മണിവരെയും ഇന്റര്‍വ്യു നടക്കും. 20 മാര്‍ക്കിനാണ് ഇന്‍ര്‍വ്യൂ. ഓരോ ടീമിനും ടൈം സ്ലോട്ടുകള്‍ അനുവദിക്കും. ഒരു ടീമിന് പരമാവധി പത്ത് മിനി ആണ് അനുവദിക്കുക.
- അക്ബര്‍ഷാ, മനോജ് കുമാര്‍, പി.വി.മുരുകന്‍ (പത്രപ്രവര്‍ത്തകന്‍, ജേണലിസം അധ്യാപകന്‍), ചിത്ര (ഐസിഫോസ്), കാര്‍ത്തിക് (സി-ഡിറ്റ്) എന്നിവര്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെട്ട അഞ്ചംഗപാനല്‍ ആണ് നേരിട്ടുളള മത്സരത്തിലേക്ക് ടീമുകളെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുക.
- ഓരോ സോണില്‍ നിന്നും നാല് ടീമുകളെയാണ് തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുക. നാലു റിസര്‍വ്വ് ടീമുകളെയും തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കും. കൊവിഡ് പശ്ചാത്തലത്തില്‍ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട ഏതെങ്കിലും ടീമിന് നേരിട്ടുളള മത്സരത്തില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കാന്‍ കഴിയാത്ത സാഹചര്യം വാല്‍ മാത്രമാണ് റിസര്‍വ്വ് ടീമിന് അവസരം ലഭിക്കുക.
- വിദ്യാഭ്യാസമന്ത്രി വി.ശിവന്‍കുട്ടി, മുന്‍മന്ത്രി ഡോ.ടി.എം.തോമസ് ഐസക്, ജീവന്‍ബാബു കെ ഐഎഎസ്്, ഡോ.ജി.ശങ്കര്‍ (ഹാബിറ്റാറ്റ്), ഡോ.എം.വി.പിളള, ഡോ.ഇക്ബാല്‍, ശ്രീജേഷ് (ഹോക്കി താരം), മുതിര്‍ മാധ്യമപ്രവര്‍ത്തകന്‍ ശശികുമാര്‍, ശശി തരൂര്‍ എംപി, ബര്‍ഖ ദത്ത് (മാധ്യമപ്രവര്‍ത്തക), ടൊവിനോ തോമസ്, മമ്മൂട്ടി/മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍, സാഹിത്യകാരി കെ.ആര്‍ മീര തുടങ്ങിയ സെലിബ്രിറ്റികളും ക്വിസ്പ്രസില്‍ പങ്കാളികളാകും.
QUIZPRESS COMPETITION ONLINE (PRELIMINARY ROUND) INSTRUCTIONS
PLEASE SPEND SUFFICIENT TIME TO READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY, PROVIDED BELOW, TO AVOID ANY KIND OF CONFUSION OR MISUNDERSTANDINGS DURING THE QUIZPRESS COMPETITION PROCESS.
The QuizPress Quiz Portal will be Activated at 11.00 AM and Closed at 12.00 PM (IST). Candidates will be provided with a mock test between 11.00 AM to 11.10 AM to familiarize with the QuizPress platform and a cool-of time from 11.15 AM to 11.30 PM. The Actual QuizPress competition will starts at 11.30 AM to 12.00 PM (All mentioned times are Indian Standard Times (IST)). Kinldy refresh your browser by 11.30 AM, if your system is changed to stand-by mode, to participate in the QuizPress competition.
- Appear for competition between 11.30 AM to 12.00 PM. QuessPress Portal will be closed at sharp 12.00 PM. Each questions will be provided with a maximum time of 60 Seconds (i.e. 1 min), after that you will not get the chance to attend that specific question. The system will automatically show the next question. You will also not be provided with the facility to go back to previous question(s).
- Applicant must ensure strict adherence to the timelines. The system will automatically close after the prescribed time for QuizPress competition is over.
- Please login to the QuizPress portal before the scheduled competition time. Login is for single use only. If multiple logins are attempted, you will be disqualified and your login will be deactivated.
- Kindly save our e-mail IDs (trainingcentre@icfoss.in, kmaquizpress@gmail.com) in your mail account provided as part of the application, so our mails will not go to the SPAM FOLDER.
- If you haven’t received an email, please check your JUNK MAIL/SPAM FOLDER also. If you have not received an email, against your registration, kindly contact Kerala Media Academy for further information.
- If you appear for online QuizPress competition after 11.30 PM, you may not get enough time and support for your competition.
- We will not be responsible for any lack of time and its losses. Candidate must keep track of his / her time and ensure that answers are submitted within the stipulated time.
- Entire QuizPress Competion time is for 30 minutes, so do not appear late.
- QuizPress rules are very strict and must be strictly adhered to and any negligence is not acceptable.

- Applicants who fail to appear for QuizPress within specified timings will be considered absent.
Minimum Requirements:For accessing the QuizPress Portal:
- Any Device with an active internet connection (PC, Laptop). Candidates are requested to use a PC, Laptop rather that any mobile devices (mobile, Tab), for better connectivity / access.
- Any web browser.
- For those who are using Mac OS, use Safari browser for connectivity/access to the portal.
Steps for Accessing your Exam Online:
- Close all programs, including email.
- Click on the QuizPress Competition link provided in the email send from Kerala Media Academy.
- Provide your user credentials and click “Log In” at the bottom of the screen.
- Read the instructions provided in the initial screen.
- To begin the QuizPress Competition, click the appropriate quiz link listed in the online Quiz Competition portal.
- After attempting your answers finish the QuizPress by submiting your answers by clicking the appropriate submit button links listed in the QuizPress Room.
- If you fail to submit the answers within the stipulated time, your answers will not be evaluated.
Before starting the QuizPress Competition:Please verify that your name and School name appears correctly within the User ID box.
During the QuizPress Competition:
- Applicant may not use his or her textbook, course notes, or receive help from any other outside source.
- Applicant must complete the 30 question multiple-choice QuizPress within the 30-minute time frame allotted for the quiz competiton.
- Applicant must not stop the session and then return to it or minimize the Quiz window. This is especially important in the online environment where the system will “time-out” or refresh the page and will not allow the applicant to re-enter the competition site. Kindly note that you will be provided only a single attempt in the competition.
What to do if your online QuizPress Competition is interrupted?
- If your online quiz is interrupted, click the “Back” button on your web browser to see if you can return to the exam. If not, follow the instructions below to resume taking the quiz. Note: If you have to log back in to complete your quiz, your prior answers will be preserved / will not be lost.
- Reconnect to the Internet and log back into QuizPress Room.
- Follow your original instructions to access the QuizPress login page.
- If any technical difficulties are encountered, please feel free to contact the helpline immediately, to resolve the issue.
- Do not refresh the page / browser at the time of appearing for the competition.

‘ക്വിസ്പ്രസ്’ പ്രശ്‌നോത്തരി
മാധ്യമരംഗത്തെ സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ ഏക സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ സ്വയംഭരണ സ്ഥാപനമായ കേരള മീഡിയ അക്കാദമി ഹൈസ്‌കൂള്‍, ഹയര്‍സെക്കന്‍ഡറി വിദ്യാര്‍ഥികള്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ടി സംസ്ഥാന തലത്തില്‍ ‘ക്വിസ്പ്രസ്’ എന്ന പ്രശ്‌നോത്തരി സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. പൊതുവിദ്യാഭ്യാസ വകുപ്പ്, ഐ&പിആര്‍ഡി, കൈറ്റ്-വിക്ടേഴ്‌സ്, സി-ഡിറ്റ്, ഐസിഫോസ് എന്നിവയുമായി സഹകരിച്ചാണ് ഇത്. എട്ടുമുതല്‍ പന്ത്രണ്ടാം ക്ലാസ് വരെയുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് മത്സരത്തില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കാം. സംസ്ഥാന സിലബസ്, സിബിഎസ്ഇ, ഐസിഎസ്ഇ സിലബസുകാര്‍ക്ക് ടീമുകളെ അയക്കാം. ശാസ്ത്രം, വികസനം, മാധ്യമം എന്നിവയെ കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ചാണ് ക്വിസ് മത്സരം. ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച വിദ്യാലയ ടീമിന് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയുടെ ട്രോഫിയും ക്യാഷ് പ്രൈസും നല്‍കും. 50,000 രൂപ, 30,000 രൂപ, 15,000 രൂപ എന്നിങ്ങനെയാണ് യഥാക്രമം ഒന്ന്, രണ്ട്, മൂന്ന് സ്ഥാനക്കാര്‍ക്ക് നല്‍കുക. വികസന-ശാസ്ത്ര-മാധ്യമ ചിന്ത പുതുതലമുറയില്‍ വളര്‍ത്തുക എന്നതാണ് ക്വിസ്പ്രസിന്റെ ഉദ്ദേശ്യം.
ക്വിസ്പ്രസ് നിബന്ധനകള്‍
1. എട്ടാം ക്ലാസ് മുതല്‍ പന്ത്രണ്ടാം ക്ലാസ് വരെയുളള കുട്ടികള്‍ക്ക് പങ്കെടുക്കാം.
2. ഒരു വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്ഥാപനത്തില്‍ നിന്നും രണ്ടുപേര്‍ അടങ്ങുന്ന ഒരു ടീമിനെയാണ് സ്ഥാപനമേധാവി ശുപാര്‍ശ ചെയ്യേണ്ടത്. സ്‌കൂളില്‍ നിന്ന് ഒരു വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥിക്ക് മാത്രമായി പങ്കെടുക്കാനാവില്ല. എട്ടു മുതല്‍ പന്ത്രണ്ടു വരെ ക്ലാസുകളില്‍ നിന്നും തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത രണ്ട് കുട്ടികളായിരിക്കണം ടീമില്‍.
3. സര്‍ക്കാര്‍, എയ്ഡഡ്/സിബിഎസ്ഇ/ഐസിഎസ്ഇ സ്‌കൂളുകള്‍ക്ക് അപേക്ഷിക്കാം
4. മത്സരത്തിനായി സംസ്ഥാനതലത്തില്‍ 12 സ്‌കൂള്‍ ടീമുകളെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കും.
5. ഇതിനായി സി-ഡിറ്റ്, മീഡിയ അക്കാദമി, ഐസിഫോസ് എന്നിവ സംയുക്തമായി ഓണ്‍ലൈനിലൂടെ ആകും യോഗ്യതാ മത്സരം നടത്തുക.
6. യോഗ്യതാ മത്സരത്തില്‍ രണ്ടു പേര്‍ക്ക് പരീക്ഷയെഴുതാം.
7. ഇന്റര്‍നെറ്റ് ലഭ്യത മത്സരാര്‍ത്ഥികള്‍ ഉറപ്പുവരുത്തണം.
8. രണ്ടുപേരില്‍ ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ മാര്‍ക്ക് നേടുന്ന കുട്ടിയുടെ സ്‌കോര്‍ ആയിരിക്കും സ്‌കൂള്‍ സ്‌കോര്‍ ആയി പരിഗണിക്കുക.
9.ഓണ്‍ലൈന്‍ പരീക്ഷയ്ക്കുശേഷം 12 ടീമുകളുടെ സെലക്ഷനുവേണ്ടി വിദഗ്ധ സമിതി ഓണ്‍ലൈന്‍ അഭിമുഖവും നടത്തും.
10. ഓണ്‍ലൈന്‍ എഴുത്തുപരീക്ഷ ഫെബ്രുവരി 19 ന് രാവിലെ 11 നും ഓണ്‍ലൈന്‍ അഭിമുഖം ഫെബ്രുവരി 20ന് രാവിലെ 11 നുമാണ്.
11. ചോദ്യങ്ങള്‍ മലയാളത്തിലായിരിക്കും.
12. ഫെബ്രുവരി 25, 26 തീയതികളില്‍ തിരുവനന്തപുരം റഷ്യന്‍ കള്‍ച്ചറല്‍ സെന്ററിലെ സി-ഡിറ്റ് സ്റ്റുഡിയോയില്‍ തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത ടീമുകള്‍ക്കുളള ക്വിസ് മത്സരം നേരിട്ട് നടത്തും.
13 .ക്വിസ്പ്രസിന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ മന്ത്രി ശ്രീ വി.ശിവന്‍കുട്ടി നിര്‍വഹിക്കും.
14. പ്രശസ്ത ക്വിസ് മാസ്റ്റര്‍ ജി എസ് പ്രദീപ് മത്സരം നയിക്കും.
15. ക്വിസ്പ്രസിന്റെ ബ്രാന്‍ഡ് അംബാസഡര്‍ ടൊവിനോ തോമസ് ആയിരിക്കും.
16. നാലു ടീമുകള്‍ മത്സരിക്കുന്ന മൂന്നു ഭാഗമുള്ള പ്രാഥമിക റൗണ്ട്. മൂന്നു ടീമുകള്‍ തമ്മില്‍ മത്സരിക്കുന്ന മൂന്നുഭാഗമുള്ള ക്വാര്‍ട്ടര്‍ ഫൈനല്‍. മൂന്നു ടീമുകള്‍ മത്സരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ഭാഗമുള്ള സെമിഫൈനല്‍ എന്നിവയ്ക്കുശേഷം രണ്ടു ടീമുകള്‍ മത്സരിക്കുന്ന ഫൈനലിലായിരിക്കും വിജയികളെ നിര്‍ണയിക്കുക. മത്സരമികവിന് ഇണങ്ങുന്ന മാറ്റങ്ങള്‍ മത്സരത്തില്‍ വരുത്താനുളള അവകാശം സംഘാടകര്‍ക്കുണ്ടായിരിക്കും.
16.മത്സരാര്‍ത്ഥികള്‍ക്ക് താമസസൗകര്യവും യാത്രാച്ചെലവും അനുഗമിക്കുന്ന രണ്ടുപേര്‍ക്ക് താമസസൗകര്യവും മീഡിയ അക്കാദമി നല്‍കും.
17. തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് നേരിട്ട് നടത്തുന്ന ക്വിസ് മത്സരം ‘അറിവുത്സവം’ എ പേരില്‍ വിവിധ എപ്പിസോഡുകളിലായി കൈറ്റ്-വിക്ടേഴ്‌സ് ചാനലില്‍ സംപ്രേഷണം ചെയ്യും.
18. മത്സരത്തില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കുന്നതിന് നിശ്ചിതമാതൃകയിലുളള ഗൂഗിള്‍ ഫോം വഴി ഫെബ്രുവരി 15നകം ടീം രജിസ്‌ട്രേഷന്‍ നടത്തണം.
