Sankaran Nair and TK Janakiamma at Punnayoorkulam in Thrissur district. 953 he joined as a staff in Navajeevan daily started by the communist party under the editorship of Joseph Mundasserry and after him he became the chief editor. As the editor of Navajeevan, TKG was arrested under official secret act for the publication of a top secret government document in his daily. When Malayala Manorama started its Kozhikode edition, TKG joined as a member of the editorial board
